From Italy to Lebanon, a love story unfolds behind the Baffa House, a tale between an Italian man and a Lebanese woman. When Antonio Baffa and his father journeyed from Italy to Lebanon at the turn of the century as part of an Italian delegation working on railway stations, Antonio fell in love and chose to make Lebanon his permanent home. Consequently, he acquired the house he lived in with his family, a property dating back to the 1940s and located next to the historic Mar Mikhael train station in Beirut.

Ten years ago, with the intent of upholding their heritage and paying homage to the Italian family that established roots in Lebanon, the following generation opted to convert this residence into a guesthouse, now known as the Baffa House.
